1. Introduction & Service Scope
Art Infinity specializes in international shipping and logistics solutions for fine art, antiques, collectibles, and high-value cargo. This form is intended solely for initial information gathering and submission of a personalized quotation request. Quotations provided are based on client-supplied specifications and become binding only upon final confirmation, physical inspection where required, and execution of a formal Shipping Agreement.
2. Cargo Accuracy & Customs Classification (HS Codes)
The client bears full responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all shipment information provided, including item descriptions, dimensions, gross weight, declared value, and customs tariff classifications (HS Codes). The shipment of hazardous materials, legally prohibited items, undeclared cash, or goods requiring special permits without prior notification and authorization is strictly forbidden.
3. Professional Packing & Fine Art Handling Standards
For individual unpacked items, packing services are carried out by Art Infinity's specialist team in strict compliance with international museum and gallery standards (padded wooden crates, triple-wall cartons, climate control, and archival interleaving where applicable). By default, multiple unpacked items collected together will be consolidated in shared crating unless separate, individualized crating has been specifically ordered.
4. International Trade Terms (Incoterms), Customs & Duties
Allocation of responsibilities, costs, and risks is governed by the Incoterm selected (EXW, CIF, DDU/DAP, DDP). Import duties, local VAT, customs clearance fees, and regulatory levies at the destination country are imposed pursuant to applicable local laws and the agreed commercial terms. Antiques (over 100 years old) and items of national heritage may require permits from the relevant Antiquities Authority or Ministry of Culture.
5. Cargo Insurance & Carrier Liability
When transit insurance is elected, coverage is provided on an All-Risk basis, calculated on the declared insured value in accordance with underwriter policy terms. In the absence of dedicated cargo insurance, carrier liability is strictly limited under applicable international conventions (Montreal Convention for air freight / Hague-Visby Rules for ocean freight).
6. Collection, Delivery & Contact Availability
To ensure smooth and timely collection and delivery operations, valid contact phone numbers for on-site personnel at both origin and destination are mandatory. Clients must also disclose any special access conditions (floor level, elevator availability, entry codes, truck size restrictions) at the time of booking.
7. Privacy Policy, Data Security & Data Retention
Collection & Use of Information:The Company collects personal and commercial information (including names, addresses, passport/company registration numbers, contact details, and cargo contents) exclusively for the purposes of quotation, logistics coordination, insurance policy issuance, and customs clearance.
Transfer of Data to Third Parties:By submitting this form, the client acknowledges and consents that, for the performance of international shipping services, the Company will be required to share their personal data and shipping documents with third parties including: licensed customs brokers, tax and customs authorities in the countries of origin and destination, airlines and shipping companies, local logistics subcontractors, and insurance underwriters. The Company undertakes that personal data will not be sold, rented, or disclosed to any commercial party not directly involved in service delivery.
Data Security:All documents and information uploaded to the Company's systems are stored under reasonable and industry-standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
User Rights:The client is entitled to submit a written request at any time to access their stored personal data, request corrections, or request deletion from the database (subject to applicable legal requirements).
Data Retention Period:The Company will retain contact records, invoices, customs declarations, and official shipping documents for the minimum period required under applicable tax and customs regulations (typically approximately 7 years), even in cases where the client requests deletion prior to the expiry of this period.
8. Force Majeure & Exceptional Delays
Art Infinity shall bear no liability for any delay, loss, or damage to a shipment caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances include, without limitation: war, hostilities, or terrorism, pandemics or epidemics, strikes and industrial action (including at seaports, airports, or customs authorities), extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or delays arising from security inspections or governmental decisions. In such events, the Company will make all reasonable efforts to minimize delays but shall not be obligated to compensate the client for any direct or indirect damages suffered.
9. Cancellation Policy, Ancillary Costs & Storage Fees
All requests to cancel a shipping service must be submitted in writing. If the service is cancelled after preparatory work has commenced — including but not limited to: construction of custom wooden crates, procurement of specialist packing materials, or reservation of vehicles and flight space — the client will be charged for the full proportionate cost of materials and labor invested up to the date of the cancellation notice. Furthermore, should collection, shipment, or customs release be delayed due to reasons attributable to the client (such as unavailability, delayed duty payment, or missing documentation), the Company reserves the right to charge daily storage fees in accordance with its current rate schedule.
10. Delivery Procedure & Damage Reporting Window (Claims)
Given the sensitive nature of the cargo, the client (or their authorized representative) is obligated to inspect the integrity of all packaging and items immediately upon receipt. Any visible damage to packaging or cargo must be explicitly noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) document at the time of signing. Notification of any damage, defect, or shortage must be submitted to the Company in writing within a maximum of 48 hours from the time of delivery, accompanied by clear photographic evidence of the damaged item and both the external and internal packaging. The client is required to retain the original packaging in its entirety for surveyor inspection. Reports submitted after this window, or disposal of packaging prior to inspection, will result in forfeiture of the client's right to file an insurance claim or demand compensation.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and all engagements with the Company shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute shall vest in the competent courts of Israel.
By submitting a quotation request and providing the required information, the client declares that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms set forth above.
